1Who we are
TarsiLabs (tarsilabs.com) is run by Wisnu Nugroho, an individual trading as TarsiLabs (“we”, “us”). Based in: Klaten, Central Java, Indonesia. Contact: support@tarsilabs.com.
TarsiLabs is sold by Wisnu Nugroho through our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders: it handles the order, the payment, the taxes, the invoice and refunds. Paddle’s buyer terms apply to the purchase itself.
2Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account, buying a pass or a plan, or using TarsiLabs in any other way, you agree to these terms and to the refund policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use TarsiLabs. The privacy policy explains what we do with your data. A purchase is also subject to Paddle’s buyer terms, which you accept at checkout.
3The service
TarsiLabs turns raster pictures (PNG, JPEG, WebP) into vector files (SVG). You upload a picture, we make the vector and show you a free preview of it; you get the SVG file once you unlock the picture. A picture can be up to 10 MB. Big pictures are scaled down before we process them, on every plan, and the result is made at that size. Features, limits and prices are listed on tarsilabs.com and may change; a change to a paid plan applies from your next billing period, never to a pass, a month or a year you have already paid for.
4Your account
- You need an account to convert pictures. Sign in with Google or with your email address. An email address must be written in plain ASCII characters (letters, digits and common symbols); an international domain works in its xn-- form. Keep your sign-in link and session private: you are responsible for what happens under your account.
- You must be at least 18, or 16 with the permission of a parent or guardian.
- One person per account. Don’t share accounts or resell access.
- Free pictures belong to the inbox, not the account: accounts whose addresses reach the same inbox (such as name+tag@ or dotted Gmail spellings) share one set, and an account deleted and made again does not get a new one.
5Your pictures and results
- You keep all rights to the pictures you upload and to the results we make from them. You may use, edit, publish and sell your result files in your own work, including your own art made with AI tools, as far as you have the rights to the original picture.
- You give us only the permission we need to store and process your pictures, to make your results and their previews, for as long as the privacy policy says.
- We don’t use customers’ pictures or results to train our models, or to train or improve any other model, and we don’t show them to anyone. We look at one only when you ask us to (for example in a message about a result), or when we must check it for abuse or because the law requires it; every such look is recorded.
- You confirm you have the right to upload each picture, and that doing so breaks no law and no one else’s rights (copyright, trademark, privacy).
6Our rights in the service
TarsiLabs itself (its software, the website, its design and texts, its name and logo) belongs to Wisnu Nugroho, who keeps all rights in it, including the intellectual property rights. These terms let you use the service as they describe; they give you no other right in it, and no right to use our name or logo. This does not touch your pictures and results: they stay yours (Your pictures and results).
7Acceptable use
Don’t use TarsiLabs to:
- upload illegal content, including child sexual abuse material, or content that infringes someone else’s rights;
- overload, probe or attack the service, or get around its limits;
- reach it by automated means (scripts, bots, scraping or crawling) other than an API we publish for that purpose, and then only within that API’s rules;
- copy, decompile or reverse engineer the service or the way it makes its results, except where the law allows this despite this rule;
- develop, train, improve, validate or benchmark a competing vectorizing (image-to-vector) product or service, or an AI model that does such work, with the service or with its results;
- create several accounts or use variants of an address to get more free pictures or previews;
- resell the service or access to it.
The rule on competing products is about building or testing such a product. It does not limit your own use of your results: you may use them in your own work as you like, including art you make with AI tools.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and report illegal content to the authorities.
8Infringement notices and takedown
If you believe a picture uploaded to TarsiLabs, or a result made from it, infringes your copyright or another of your rights, write to support@tarsilabs.com with:
- your name, postal address and email address;
- the work or the right you say is infringed;
- what you say infringes it, with enough detail for us to find it (for example the address of a shared file, or the account it came from, if you know it);
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not allowed by the rights holder or by law;
- a statement that your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or may act for them, signed with your name.
We review every complete notice promptly. If it is well founded, we remove the material or block access to it, and tell the user who uploaded it, who can answer with the reasons they believe the use is allowed. We may then restore the material, or leave the dispute to the user and the rights holder.
Repeat infringers. We close the account of a user who repeatedly infringes other people’s rights: as a rule after a third well-founded notice against the same account, at once in a serious case. That user may not open a new account.
9Plans, pictures and billing
- Previews are free once you sign in. A preview is a picture of the result to look at: you can zoom it and compare it with your original, but it is not the SVG file. Editing, saving edits and downloading start when you keep (unlock) a picture.
- Keeping (unlocking) a picture is included while a pass or a plan runs; without one it uses one of your free pictures, once. After that you can edit it and download it again, as SVG, PNG or PDF, at no further cost while it is kept.
- A new account gets 3 free pictures, once. They don’t renew. After them, keeping pictures needs a 7-day pass or a plan.
- A 7-day pass is prepaid use of TarsiLabs: one payment for unlimited pictures, under fair use, for 7 days from the purchase. It never renews. A pass bought while another runs adds 7 days to its end.
- A plan gives unlimited pictures, under fair use, while it runs. It renews at the end of each paid period, a month or a year, until you cancel. Cancel any time from your account: the plan stays active until the end of the paid period and is not renewed. You can switch a plan from monthly to yearly at any time: the change is immediate, you pay the yearly price less the unused part of the current month, and the paid year starts that day. A switch from yearly to monthly takes effect when the paid year ends (we make it in the year’s last two hours): until then the yearly plan runs, nothing of that year is refunded, and monthly payments start then.
- Fair use. Unlimited means for one person’s own work. With a pass or a plan you can start at most 100 new pictures in any 5 hours and 1,000 in any 7 days, one at a time. Downloading a picture again, in another format or layout, and editing it never count. Don’t share your account or reach the service by automated means (acceptable use). Over a limit, new pictures wait until the window frees up; we may pause an account that abuses the service, and tell you why.
- Free pictures, a pass and a plan are for use on TarsiLabs only and belong to your account. They are not transferable to another account or person, have no cash value and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash. Purchases are refunded only as the refund policy says.
- Without a pass or a plan you can preview up to 10 pictures a day (5 on your first day; a day in UTC). If pictures keep failing because they are too complex or take too long, we may pause new pictures for a short while.
- A preview, a failed picture or a picture you delete before unlocking it costs nothing.
- If a purchase is refunded or charged back, the pass, or the plan period it paid for, ends at once.
- Within 14 days of a purchase you get your money back if you haven’t kept a picture with it yet. A clearly broken result does not count. The refund policy has the details.
10Availability and changes
We work to keep TarsiLabs available and correct, but it is provided “as is”, and we don’t guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free: it may be slow or unavailable at times, for maintenance, updates or causes outside our control. Results are made automatically and can contain mistakes: check them before you rely on them for print, production or cutting. We may change or stop features. If we close the service, paid users get at least 30 days’ notice and a refund of the unused part of a pass or of a paid month or year.
11Liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or your rights as a consumer where you live.
12Ending the agreement
You can delete your account at any time from your account page or by writing to support@tarsilabs.com. If you have a plan, deleting the account cancels it at once; if the payment provider cannot cancel it at that moment, we delete nothing and ask you to try again, so you are never charged after a deletion. A running pass or plan ends with the account and is not refunded: if a purchase is still within the refund policy, ask for that first. What we keep after a deletion is listed in the privacy policy. We may end the agreement if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
13Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
14Language of these terms
These terms are published in English and in Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia), and both versions are equal in meaning. For consumers in Indonesia the Indonesian version is the valid and binding one, as Indonesian law requires (Law No. 24 of 2009, Article 31); for everyone else the English version is the main one. If the two versions are ever read differently, the Indonesian version prevails for consumers in Indonesia.
15Changes to these terms
We announce material changes on tarsilabs.com or by email at least 14 days before they apply. If you don’t accept a change, you can stop using TarsiLabs and delete your account before it applies. A change never shortens a pass you have bought or alters a paid month or year that has started.
